6D SLAM - Preliminary Report on closing the loop in Six Dimensions

The AIS 3D laser scanner for autonomous moble robots (AIS 3D Laser Scanner) digitalizes environments.


Here we want to give a first example for a closing loop experiment. Please download the paper here.

The Video

The video shows the result on the 6D SLAM. The robot view as color video, the scanned and registered point clouds of the closed loop are shown.
Furthermore, one sequence shows Kurt3D acquiring 3D scans.
